Oregon State University VBMA

Graduates of the VBMA Business Certificate Program from the Class of 2015 with our dean, Dr. Sue Tornquist.

Business Certificate Program (BCP)

The Oregon State University VBMA offers several hours of lectures and workshops on business education, leadership and communication, and personal development every quarter. Members have the option of completing the Business Certificate Program (BCP), which requires completing 16 hours in the four categories outlined to the right. This national curriculum ensures that all members have consistent exposure to the four core pillars of veterinary business while allowing flexibility for individual interests.

Completion of the BCP means VBMA members have made the effort to supplement their veterinary education. They are aware of the trends and areas for growth in veterinary medicine and are better prepared to handle the challenges facing a new graduate, whether that be business or personal finances, management skills, branding and marketing, emotional intelligence, and so much more.

Senior Banquet

The Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine recognizes our VBMA BCP graduates at the Senior Banquet, an annual event held in honor of the graduating class.
